Wedding Party

Kate and Kira met as coteachers teaching prek together at Kate’s current workplace. They quickly bonded over shared strong work ethics and love of the kids and turned their work friendship into a true friendship. They love to spend time outside of work together by going to bingo, crafting, and watching The Bachelor.

Hannah and Kate became friends shortly after Kate and Ryan first met, as Hannah was already dating Wade, one of Ryan’s friends/now groomsmen. They bonded over having no idea what Ryan or any of his Air Force friends were ever talking about and being each others’ female life lines. Fast forward two plus years and both couples are still together and engaged/married and in each others’ wedding parties!

Sydney and Kate lived down the hall from each other freshman year of college and have been close friends ever since! They’ve cried through bad grades together, laughed through dance parties together, and even make great karaoke partners. A favorite memory is when Sydney told Kate that her birthday party was Adam Sandler themed, so Kate dressed the part all out (it in fact was NOT Adam Sandler themed).

Kate and Kaitlyn first met in Colorado Springs on a visit to see Ryan during his initial flight training while Kaitlyn was in her senior year at USAFA. They share a love of trivia and board games, though Kaitlyn's love of history definitely gives her the upper hand.

Riley and Kate met during Kate’s sophomore year in college and became inseparable very quickly. The two of them, though likely troublesome together, share some of the fondest and strangest memories. Kate can always count on Riley to know exactly which niche internet reference she is making and let the conversation flow from there.

Grace is Kate’s adopted sorority little from college and was actually there the night Kate and Ryan met.  She once finished all college finals with appendicitis and then subsequently hosted a birthday party a few days after surgery. Grace and Kate love a good wine and craft night together and look forward to having more down the line, just in new locations/states.

Same as Kaitlyn, Sierra and Kate met at USAFA in November of 2023. Sierra and Kate have bonded while Sierra has been working on her masters at Georgia Tech through Kate's stories of growing up in Atlanta. Here’s to hoping their current/upcoming time in South overlaps so they can spend more time together!

Jay holds a special spot on this list as the coveted bride’s man. He is someone who Kate considers one of top five funniest people on Earth and has brought Kate to happy tears on multiple occasions. His storytelling ability is unmatched, he’s always ready to party, and he might be the only person who loves hot dogs more than Kate.

Katie and Kate met at an appendicitis surgery themed birthday party and have been close ever since. Katie is always the life of the party and she and Kate love to be social butterflies together. Katie’s kindness is also a shining characteristic—she sees the positive in every situation and finds something uplifting about everyone she meets, which Kate heavily admires.

Jenna, the youngest of Ryan’s three sisters, was the first Kate ever met in person. When visiting Ryan’s family for the first time in NH, Jenna provided impeccable comedic relief and embarrassing childhood stories of Ryan. Jenna and Kate even shared a prom dress last year (thankfully 2019 Kate’s dress choice was still in style in 2024).

Macy and Kate have been childhood best friends ever since Kate first moved to Ohio. They grew up doing almost everything together, even once sweet talking the counselor’s office into switching their class schedules to be perfectly synced up. Macy is currently in optometry school and is Kate’s go to for vision-related questions.
